Step 4: Equipment and Training Methods

Equipment and methods vary by program. E-collar training generally begins when a dog is at least 5 months old. Younger puppies can start foundational training using clicker-and-treat methods. Basic Marker Mastery™ uses reward-based training and includes a clicker, slip lead, and 15-foot leash.

Step 5: Owner Education and Ongoing Support

The 2 Week Board & Train includes an owner education session explaining what your dog learned and how to maintain the training.
